BLINDING HEADLIGHTS
A MAORI KILLED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association,) . WAIEOA, This Day. On Saturday night a Maori named Koroua Tamaimaea, single, aged 36, was knocked down by a car on the Nuhaka-Morere road and killed instantaneously. The driver of the car was blinded by the powerful headlights of a car just in front of a garage nearby.
At an inquest a verdict was returned that the deceased was accidentally killed, no blame being attachable to anyone.
