' 'l.'he slump of the price of tin in London will be a severe blow to that section of Australian investors interested in the many, eastern tin dredgings companies that are controlled in Australia.

Tuesday's fall to £142 Ss 9d per ton brought the price very close to the lowest since- the war, white since the beginning of this year the ■ price of tin has fallen by nearly. £36 per ton sterling. Three years.ago the London quotation was £300 per ton. As a result of depressed prices of the metals, tin stocks on 'Change were neglected.' The market yesterday, however, showed a recovery of £2 18s 9d for spot supplies.
