ACCIDENT WITH RIFLE

INVBRCARGILL, 20 th April. ■ With a bullet wound in /his right leg near the knee, Thomas Edmoiid Daly, aged 14, residing at Kapuka, was admitted to tho Southland Hospital lasti evening. It ir understood that the lad had been playing with some others and was bending down to lace up his boot when he was accidentally struck on the leg with a rifle which exploded.
