Mason worked his team before the fog lifted. Grccnaway, Jaloux, and Swiftray went first,- followed by tho two-year-olds, Ozone and Ilkley. Arikiwai and First Sight were companions over six furlongs in lmin 16 2-Csec. They were together at the fini.li of a smart gallop. Paquito, with Toawai as mate for ' tho Jast half mile, covered six furlongs in lmin 16 3-osec. It was an attractive effort, and Spoon occupied lmin -17 4-5 sec for six furlongs, but she .did it eas-' ily. - ■ Taragona ran six furlongs in lmin 18 2-oscc, (Jraigavon assisting him over tha last five furlongs. Taragona is an improving horse. Argyle was given fin easy half mile. Hounslow and Divinettc kept together all the way for sir furlongs in. lmin 20scc. Starshooter and Netley were asaociated over a, mile in lmin. 46 2-ssec. They went oft' fast but were slowing down at the finish. The gallop' -was only1 intended as useful work. , Thurso beat "Discourse over six furlongs in lmin 19 2-ssee. Malmsey and The Bailiff galloped seven furlongs, Gas King joining in for the last four. Giggles^ ich showed great ■ brilliancy while doing five furlongs in lmiu 2see. Meadow Lark, with a big weight, ran five furlongs on the, grass in lmin 3' 4-5 see. Hoylakc covered six furlongs in lmin 17 2-ssec. . -> Gay Crest was given a working gal« lop. Tripaway occupied lmin 19 3-aseo for six furlongs on the grass. Gala Day and Aberfeldy separately, each ridden by I. Tilson, jumped four hurdles in grand style. Sleipner cleared out from Sir Limond and did five furlongs in lmin ( 2 2-dsee, Gay Sonnet ran a mile on the grass in. lmin 43 3-ssec. Lucky Light and Rin Tin.. Tin were together at the end of half a mile on the grass in 49 3-ssec. Historic and Dolomite reeled off a mile in lmin 42 3-ssee, a smart performance. Gesture and Lineage were sprinted down the straight on the course. Tern don was too good for Just aa Idea over five furlongs in lmin ssec. Honeycomb boat Pahautanmi over six furlongs in lmin 18sec, Latin Quarter and Paris ran six furlongs in lmin 17 3-oscc, Totolomai joining in for the last half mile. Rapina and Courtlike were together after doing six furlongs in lmin 18 1-5 SCC.' Clirysology went in good style while sprinting half a .liiile on the grass in 48 2-ssec. His stable mate Courtesy wont over- the same ground in 47 3-ssec. —a brilliant effort. Sea Eaid and Miss Nightraid covered six furlongs on tho grass in lmin 17 3-ssec. Taramoa (G. Dempster) jumped four hurdles very slowly. Weather Eaid and Merry Peel sprint- • ed half a mile up the back on the grass in ulsee. Amorist (G. Salt) jumped three hurdles well. Gustavo and Latin Hall occupied lmin 4sec for five furJongs. Te Awhina went in her best stylo while doing sis furlongs on the grass iv lmin 15 3-ssee.
