RESTORED TO HEALTH
British Official Wireless.
RUGBY, 27th March,
Tho King to-day held at Buckingham Palace his first levee since his illness. Six hundred guests comprised officers of the Navy, Army, and Air Force, politicians, and civic dignitaries.
For the first time the King received the Soviet Ambassador, M. Sokolnikoff. The previous levee which M. Sokolnikoff attended was held by tho Prince of Wales.
His Majesty departed from his usual custom of standing. He sat on a golden throne under a canopy of gold, surrounded by great officers of State. Tho King and Queen will hold five courts this year, on account of the large number of applications for presentation. It is authoritatively pointed out that the reappearance of the King at Royal Courts is a definite indication that he is completely restored to normal health, and can carry out hi 3 usual routine without interruption.
