Stimson, head of the Ameri. can delegation, conferred with Mr. Mac Donald this morning. Tho British Commonwealth delegates meet this afternoon. Tho British spokesman. explained that the Conference had not created the Experts' Sub-Committee to discover a political formula to meet France's needs. What happened was that it had merely remitted the matter to the legal experts of the British and French Foreign Offices, who ordinarily undertake such explorations. The spokesman, however, definitely admitted that "what has happened is that the political question has to be considered." This is the first official admission of tho turn the Conference has taken.
