Cheese is slow.-.New Zealand 79s to 81s, Australian 78s to 795. Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., report having received to-day the following cable advice, dated 27th inst., from Messrs. J. andji: LOnsdale and Co., Ltd., London: Buttei-—Marked steadier. Danish, 1545; New Zealand, 128s, 1295; Australian, 1265, 1275. Cheese—Market easier tendency. White 78s, coloured 80s. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Limited, have , received the following market report ..frohj : _,Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, dated 27th March: "New Zealand butter, 128s, 129s per cwt, steadier; New Zealand cheese, market unchanged , but steady." Messrs. A. Ji Mills, London, 27th March, give the following market prices for ■ butter and cheese as ruling at close of business that day: Butter: The market is steadier. New Zealand finest 128s, 1295, first 1265, 1275: Danish, 140s, 148s r Australian, 1245, 128s. Cheese: This market is quiet. New Zealand white 78s, 795, coloured, 80s. Prices down on the week 5s on butter, 3s to 4s on cheese. Dalgety amd Company, Limited, have received the following market advice from their head office, London, under date of the 27th March: Messrs. Samuel Page and Son : report: . Butter market steadier; cheese market slow.
