MARCONI'S PREDICTION

There waa a tense moment in the Elettra's crowded cabin when Marchese Marconi pressed the telegraph key and awaited the voice from Sydney announcing that tho lights had been i turned on at the Radio Exhibition in j the Town Hall. The Marchese's face was wreathed in smiles. Ho said that the success of the experiment was particularly important, as it pointed to the time when electric power would be transmitted direct through the air in any direction and in the quantity desired.
