In returning a formal verdict at the inquest on Mrs. Catherine Brightwoll, of Taumarunui, who was killed on 28th December through a car driven by her husband going ovor a bank on the Napier-Taupo road, after hitting another car, the Coroner (Mr. Mowlem, S.M.) said that from the evidence it appeared that Brightwell rounded a bend on the wrong sidei The evidence threw strong doubt on the testimony of the husband. Two witnesses had sworn that. Brightwell rounded the bend on the wrong side.
