Lord and Lady Latymer, who have been fishing at Tokaanu for a week, returned to Wellington yesterday. They had good weather and between them took 28 fish, the heaviest 811}. They also visited Wairakei. They leave for the Makarora district by, ..the ferry steamer this evening. .
Deep regret is expressed in the annual report of the Wellington College Old Boys' Football Club at the death of Mr. Waltor Bethune, a vice-president, life, and foundation member of the club, and "the most loyal and enthusiastic supporter the club has Iver had." "His assistance .and interest in every phase of tho club's activities," states the annual report, "will be sadly missed but his memory will indeed be a lasting inspiration to every Old Boy who had the privilege of knowing him."
