THIEF CAUGHT BY POLICE

(Received: 7th March, 11' a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. . .Seven shots were fired by the police during a thrilling chase after a thief, following the robbing of tho safe at Tattersa'll's Hotel of £1000. A man led the chase over the roofs of several buildings and was finally captured after a desperate struggle. A second man was arrested in a room at the hotel.
