(Received 7th March, 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, 6th March. , A hundred persons were injured iv a riot described by Police-Commissioner Whalen as the "worst since the war," when Communists gathored about soapbox orators in Union Square and attempted to march toward the City Hall. The police, one of whom received a fractured skull, attempted to stem the column, whereupon rioting commenced. Numerous persons were battered, crushed, and trampled on in a scrimmage.
