BERHAMPORE CLUB About;seventy-five'; members attended the annual general meeting of the Berhampore Football Club last night. Mr. A. A WMtelaw presided. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the chairman said that the most important feature ot. the club's activities during the past year was the completion ...of the new , gymnasium. Thanks were due to Mr. P. W. Moore who had helped in this matter by giving a guarantee to the bank for £200. The secretary of the Wellington Rugby Union wrote regarding the following resolution passed by the International Board and sent to the New Zealand Union: "As a condition precedent to the consideration of the creation of a consultative body under the supreme control of tins board, all Dominion unions should agree to adopt the laws of the game as framed by the International Board." After some discussion it was decided to instruct the club's delegates to the Rugby Union to vote in favour of the adoption of such laws, providing the Dominion has representation on the International Board m England. \ , ,l , The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. George Flux; president, Mr. A A Whitelaw; vice-presidents, Messrs. ■H G Bedell, P.
