WAR MEMORIAL

ISLAND BxVY ROTUNDA

The Mayor, Mr. G. A- Troup, is to open the Island Bay Soldiers' and Sailors' War Memorial Band Kotunda on Sunday, 16th March, at 3 p.m. In the absence from Wellington of the chairman of the Island Bay Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Committee (Mr. 0. C. Odlin), the deputy-chairman, Mr. J. O. Shorland, will preside. A short memorial service will first be held ii) memory of those who died in the Great War, and to express gratitude to those who served and returned. The musical portion of the programme will be provided by the Municipal Tramways Band and the Island Bay, School-Band.
