AUSTRALIAN PROPOSAL
(Received 7th March, 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. It is understood that the Federal Treasurer (Mr. Theodore) is preparing proposals for submission to Cabinet to establish the Commonwealth Bank as a central reserve bank, with, branches in every part of Australia. The main idea is to enlarge the credits of primary producers, giving the fullest impetus to export of wheat and wool.
