PROFESSOR TOCKER TO GO

The representations made by the deputation from the Wellington and Canterbury Trades and Labour Councils to the Minister of Labour (the Hon. W. A. Veitch) on Wednesday protesting against the appointment of Professor A. 11. Tocker, of Canterbury College, as the Government's representative, at the Labour Conference at Geneva, have been, considered by Cabinet, and it has been decided to make no alteration in the decision previously arrived at.
