DANGEROUS DEPRESSION
LOWER WAGES RECOMMENDED
(Received 7th March, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 6th March. Mr. H. P. MacMillan, K.C., who with the- assistance of the employers and trades unions conducted an inquiry into tho northern wool texture industry, has issued his report. This recommends a reduction in wages on tha ground that -the industry is so dangerously depressed that sacrifices of wages are essential. Mr. MacMillan has been made a Lord' of Appeal. ■
