NATIVES WANT MAU
(By Telegraph Radio-Special P.A.) I (Received 7th March, 2 p.m.) i APIA, 6th March. The conference between the Administrator and the Hon. J. G. Cobbe and the Mau closed yesterday. The Samoans were not favourable to the breaking up of the organisation, but no opposition-was raised to wanted men being arrested. It is understood that the Samoans will return to their villages. The Administrator said he would meet representatives of the people_ at any time at Mulinuu, Apia, or Vailima to discuss matters of benefit to the country.
