LEVIES ON WORKERS
MELBOURNE, 6th March
Tho Mining Committee of the Trade Union Conference, just concluded, has fixed levies payable by all workers to assist the coal miners. These range from two shillings a week in the case of adult workers receiving £5 a week, to four shillings a week in tho case of those earning £7. Congress concluded with the singing of "The Bed Flag."
