AN ISLAND TOUR
Making what is , known as ' the "Magic Isles" tour, a party of eight American travellers arrived in Wellington last night. Members names, are: Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Jarnian (New York), Dr. and Mrs. T. Wallace Dodds (Pittsburg), Miss Martha Jarmari, Miss Irma Graham (Maryland),. Miss M.L. Smith (Los Angeles), and Miss A. L. Carlyle (Toronto). The .Hawaiian Islands, Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa were visited before the party- arrived at Auckland on 7th February to make a complete tour of the North Island. They are now in "Wellington prior to sailing by the Ulimaroa for Sydney on, Friday. The Blue Mountains and other beauty spots near Sydney will be explored and Melbourne visited before the travellers pass through Wellington again on their way back to the States. The Cook Islands (Earotonga), and Papeete in the Society Group will be called at on the homeward'voyage, so that the' tourists should feel that the name of their trip has been fully justified by the time they reach home again.
