LONDON, 6th February. The newspapers give prominence to both Mr. Scullin's and Mr. Theodore's statements.
1 The "Morning Post's" -financial writer states that the reassurances regarding the security of tho Australian loan and exchange . position -.caused Australian securities to become distinctly firmer. Both Australia and Indian stock became as difficult to'buy; / at quoted prices as they had been difficult to sell previously.
