SYBNEY, 7th February.
Members of the theatrical profession in Australia, like the professional musicians, liavc been severely hit by the "talkies," and the majority are unable to pay their way. An outstanding instance of bad times was revealed to-day, when Miss MurieJ Starr voluntarily sequestrated her estate; her liabilities were £3000. ; Miss Starr was a noted actress, and formerly received a very high salary.
