THE BETTY COMES TO WELLINGTON '

Tho Betty, three times winner ' of tho Sanders Cup for Canterbury, and winner of the Boss and Lipton Cups at the recent Auckland Anniversary Day regatta, has been purchased by Mr. W. IT. Wagstaff, a well-known figure in local yachting circles, principally as judgo, starter, and timekeoper for tho i]vaus Bay Club over a long period. "We are going to sco if we can't do something towards winning tho Sanders Cup for Wellington," remarked Mr. Wagstaff tG a "Post" reporter. The Betty is at present in her owner's workshop in Ilataitai. She is not eligible to compete in tho InterClub Cup race this afternoon, but Mr. WagstafE intends to race her in tho next club handicaps.
