DUTHIE CUP CONTEST
Play between the Wanganui, Hutt, and Wellington Clubs for the Duthie Cup was concluded on the Hutt Green yesterday, Wanganui, the holders, being successful in retaining the trophy. In the first round Wanganui defeated Wellington, and in the second Hutt defeated Wellington. Hutt then played the final round against Wanganui, but the visitors were too strong, and won with both teams. Details:—
