SISTERS LOSE THEIR LIVES

STRATFORD, This Day.

■An inquest was held yesterday at Makahu into' the deaths of Mr,s. Anita Floreufca Yarrall and her sister. Miss Emma lola Ecnai, who were drowned in the river on the previous afternoon. A verdict of accidental death was returned. The husband, Mr. Jack Yarrall, was a^vay at tho time, and on his return home learned of the tragedy from the children. Tho bodies were recovered but life was extinct.

Miss Eenai was teaching a little girl to swim. Both got into difficulties. Mrs. Yarrall went to the assistance of the little- girl, who was carried by tho current into shallow 'water, but the others wero drowned.
