FINE AND WARM
GOOD WEATHER .CONTINUES
The Dominion has experienced another 24 hours of brilliantly fine weather. At 9 o 'clock this morning none of the reporting stations had any rain to report. High pressure systems still control the weather, and much the greater part of the country is experiencing clear skies and dry atmosphere. A slight depression has crossed tho southern portion of the South Island, but it was unable to do moro than cause an increase of cloud in Otago and Southland. The East Coast from Castlepoint to East Cape still continues to experience rather cloudy conditions. The weather has been similar at all the main centres, clear skies and beautifully fine weather with light to moderate easterly breezes having ruled. The day was of moderate summer warmth and the night cool.
The forecast is for variable winds over the South Island, south-easterlies prevailing over the North Island, but light to moderate in force generally. A continuance of fine weather is expected, with rising temperatures.
