DELHI; Ist February. Tho Indian' Broadcasting Company is going into voluntary liquidation at the end of February. During tho past three years the company has spent five lakhs of rupees in excess of its incoinp, in addition to the capital laid out on plant. The failure is attributed to the refusal of listeners to take.out- licences, and tho difficulty in arranging programmes to suit both Europeans and Indians, and the interference atmospherics caused in wireless reception. ,
At tlie present rate of exchange, five lafths of rupees would be equal to nearly £40,000. ' ' ■'•
