An informal and instructional meeting was.'held by the, Wellington Centre of. the New- Zealand' Amateur Athletic Association at Athletic/.Park on Saturday afternoon with the idea of increasing the popularity of .field: events among athletes and generally, improving the standard. . A number of prominent athletes were on the ground lor the purpose of coaching, and the afternoon was very profitably spent..
