Tho "Post" gift -"plane took the air at Bongotai several times yesterday for testing purposes, those who conducted tho tests being [Captain G. Bolt and Captain G. (To the Editor.)
Sir,—ln accepting j the "Evening Post" gift 'plane on behalf of the Wellington Aero Club, the president (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop) suggested a shorter name might be given the 'plane that would still acknowledge the generosity of tho donors. I respectfully suggest the 'pltnebe christened the "First Post." That name will for all time stamp it as the first club 'plane in New Zealand's capital city, and will pay tribute to the proprietors of the "Evening Post" in leading tho way for other institutions and citizens to assist the development o;f civil aviation. —I' am, etc., ■ , ■~ . FBEp. J. WHELAN.
