Butter. —Slow; Danish 1725; others easier. Choicest salted, New Zealand, 1525, 1545, Australian 1503, 1525; unsalted, New Zealand 1665, 170s, Australian 1545, 1565. Cheese: Dull. New Zealand, coloured 88s, S9s, white 90s, 91s; Australian, coloured 86s, 87s, white 88s, 80s.
Messrs Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received the following market report from Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, dated 29th January, 1930:— "New Zealand butter, 153s per cwt; New Zealand cheese, white 90s per cwt, coloured 88s per cwt. Both markets quiet."
