SATURDAY'S CONTESTS
In addition to the appearances ol Miss Fay Taylour, the noted lady speedway competitor from England, there will be many competitors of outstanding ability at the Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway on Saturday night. Miss Taylour has mastered the art of broadsiding to the extent of being able to defeat leading men competitors in other countries, and her performances at the Stadium on Saturday night, when she will appear in a handicap and in match races, are expected to be even better than those registered by her when competing here last year. Lesvan I Praag, Arthur Mann, and Billy Bticpe- | wich. Australians of class, who have been | competing elsewhere in the Dominion. will be making a reappearance, as also will Les Lawrence, who has recovered from an injury, while "the mystery rider win again be in action. It is confidently expected that Wally Kilmister will be back to his best form, and other local riders will also present strong opposition for tne visitors. A fine "field" will be seen in the International Big Nine Scratch, and for the Silver Gauntlet the talent will be excellent. ______^__^_^__
