CAPSIZE OF A DINGHY

HAMILTON, This Day,
A fortunate escape from drowning was the experience of Eobert Bray, a youth, who ■went. out cruising in the Kaglan Harbour iv a dinghy. The sail fouled in a sudden gust of wiud, capsizing the craft. A strong outgoing tide, combined with a cross current from the channel, swept him towards the bar. Finally he reached the shore about four miles from the scene of the accident in an exhausted condition. He owed his life to the fact that he managed to retain a pair of oars, using them for support in his fight to reach safely. '
