EASTBOURNE TRAN PORT SERVICE.
The management of the Eastbourne Transport Service draws attention to attractions at the Bays to-morrow. A special boat will leave Miraraar at 11.15 a.m. for the Bays for the purpose of giving residents o£ that area an opportunity of visiting Wellington's favourite seaside resorts under what it is hoped'will be ideal conditions. The Miramar Silver Band has been engaged to play on the trip and to render an open-air concert at Rona Bay Recreation Grounds at 3.30 p.m. The Island Bay Surf Bathing Club will also give a demonstration: on the Eastbourne beach, adjoining the Recreation Grounds at 3.15 p.m. For residents of Petone and the Hutt Valley a special boat and bus service has been arranged. Patrons are requested to avail themselves of the round trip—bus out and boat home. The Eastbourne Gala Week dates from to-day until next Saturday, and special buses and boats will run for the purpose of carrying passengers from the city to Wellington's sunniest suburb.
