PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 173 of The Counties Act,. 1920, that it is the intention of the Hutt County' Council to levy the Raumati Drainage Rate on a graduated scale according to classification of the rateable property within the Raumati Drainage Rating Area. The drainage rate will be levied upon the following, classes:— Class A.—Lands receiving or likely to receive immediate and direct benefit from the drainage works. Class B.—Lands receiving or likely to receive less direct benefit therefrom. Clas£ C—Lands receiving or likely to receive only an indirect benefit therefrom. . The Hutt County Council proposes that the Rauraati Drainage Rate .shall be levied from time to time upon the several classes of land as described above, viz.: A, B, and C, and in the following proportions:. — ...
