NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION OF LANDS IN RAUMATI DRAINAGE DISTRICT. "V'OTICE is hereby given that the classi- -^ fication list of the lands comprised in the district constituted under "The Counties Act, 1920," for drainage-works known as the-Raumatu Drainage District niay be inspected at the Office of the Hutt County Council, 68, Lambton quay, Wellington, during office hours until Tuesday, the 11th day of February, 1930, without fee. Any person who thinks himself aggrieved by such classification on the ground that his land or the land of any other person in.the saiS district— (a) Has not been -! fairly classified in ac- ■ cordance with the benefit received or ''.' likely to be received; or (b) Has not been classified— but on no other ground, may appeal against the same by giving to the Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Wellington, not later than seven days next after the Baid Ilth day of February, 1930, notice of appeal setting forth the matter objected to and the" ground of objection. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 173 of The Counties Act,. 1920, that it is the intention of the Hutt County' Council to levy the Raumati Drainage Rate on a graduated scale according to classification of the rateable property within the Raumati Drainage Rating Area. The drainage rate will be levied upon the following, classes:— Class A.—Lands receiving or likely to receive immediate and direct benefit from the drainage works. Class B.—Lands receiving or likely to receive less direct benefit therefrom. Clas£ C—Lands receiving or likely to receive only an indirect benefit therefrom. . The Hutt County Council proposes that the Rauraati Drainage Rate .shall be levied from time to time upon the several classes of land as described above, viz.: A, B, and C, and in the following proportions:. — ... Class A.—Full rate. . Class B.—Half rate. J Class C—Quarter rate. Any person who objects to the appointment of euch proposed proportions as stated above must lodge his or her objection in writing to the Hutt County Council,' 68, Lambton quay, Wellington, not later than NOON on WEDNESDAY, the J9th'day of February, 1930.
