LONDON, 16th January.
Motor bandits broke into tho residence of Sir Spencer Maryon-Wilson, of Yattendon Ho., Newbury, Berkshire, and stole £20,000 worth of jewels, including a pearl necklace worth £18,000. The burglary evidently was one of a series committed by a gang of four men and two women, who were utilising stolen cars. Their escape was aided by the fact that a gale destroyed the telephone lines.
