"NO CONCERN OF MINE"

MR. COATES ON POLITICAL . HAPPENINGS (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. "The time is not opportune to make any statement," said the Leader of the Opposition (the Eight Hon. J. G. Coates) when invited yesterday to comment on recent political happenings. "If other Beople like to fall out among themselves it is no concern of mine. I am not called upon to say anything at the moment."

Questioned regarding his intentions as to making a public statement later, Mr. Coates admitted that he would probably have an announcement to.make at some time in the near future, "as people would be asking questions." Within the next fortnight Mr. Coates will go to Wellington with a deputation of settlers in connection with roading matters.
