PLAY IN THE PAIRS (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 16th January. The animal tournament of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association was continued to-day in delightful weather. Play vi the pairs competition was continued throughout the day, and the last of the games were not finished until nearly 9 o'clock to-night. The scheduled five games in the competition were completed at 6 p.m., and the remainder of the time was devoted to playing off section ties, and in five cases finding the green winners. The competition will be continued nest week, as players become available from the rinks competition. The rinks competition, for winch 90 entries have been received, will be commenced at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning, and will be continued on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday.
