CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW

The draw foi> the New '-Zealand tennis cbampionsliips, which commence at Miramar ou 27th January,, shows that practically all the leading players of the Dominion will be participating in the tournament. Notable entrants are Miss Floyd, of Sydney; airs. Sturmau (uce Nancy Curtis), of WelliiugtoH; Mrs. Scott (nee M'Lareu), of Soutfi Canterbury; and L. France, of Wellington. .Among the absentees are Mrs. Dykes (nee Miss Speirs); E. L. Bartleet, and Dr. Laureusou. In view of the -strength of the entries some of the competition should be exceedingly keen. : The draw was made last evening by the Management .Committee .of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, when among those present was.'Mr. G.
