ROME, 6th January. Excitement increases an tho Koyal wedding day approaches. All the groat nations of the world will be represented at the ceremony. The Duke of York was everywhere acclaimed as ho rode in State to the Palace to greet the Sovereigns on behalf of King George and Queen Mary. Thereafter he attended a.brilliant reception at the Quirinal, where were assembled royalties, and he received homage from Signor Mussolini,. members of tho Cabinet, Ambassador, Senators, and deputies. The Duke of York had a long chat with Signor Mussolini. • The routes of all processions aro densely lined with cheering people. The whole city is illuminated at night. Tho most piquant topic of conversation is the presence of King Boris of Bulgaria, arousing speculations as to his prospective engagement, which hitherto has been denied always, to Princess Giovanna. Princess ■ Giovanna is the fourth child and third daughter of King Emanuol, and was born on 13th November, 1907.
