PELTZER AND LERMOND IN

SYDNEY

SYDNEY, 6th January.

The New South Wales Amateur Athletic Association to-day welcomed Dr. Otto Poltzer, who is the German middle-distance runner, and Leo. Lermond, the American track champion.

Sir Henry Braddon, in a speech, said that at this stage in the world's affairs, when they were all striving for international peace, the visit of such men as Peltzer and Lermond, representatives of two of the leading nations, was most opportune.
