OBITUARY
SIR MONTAGUE SHEARMAN

LONDON, 6th January.
The death is announced of Sir Montague Shearman, Judge of the King's Bench. Division since 1914, at the age of 72. " In his younger days at Oxford he was a great athlete, and was amateur champion over 100 yards iand quarter-mile. He played Eugby football for Oxford, and was joint author of "Football: Its History for Five Centuries" and "Athletics" and "Football" in the Badminton Library.
