(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' ' AUCKLAND, 6th January. W. Kilmister, the Wellington cinder track champion, met with outstanding success at the Western Springs Speedway this evening. He was entered for three events, and won them all, finishing first in tho New Year Handicap, the Big Nine Championship, and the special Wellington versus Auckland challenge match. In the challenge match he beat W. Allen and B. Bray, both of Auckland. A. Mattson and W. Herbert, two Aucklanders who really challenged Kilmister, could not ride owing to minor injuries. Kilmister also beat Sticpewich's four-lap or mile record of lmin 28 4-ssee, covering the distance in Imin 27 3-ssec. He also lapped in 21sec, which is 3-ssec faster than the one-lap record. >
