A graceful Simmonds Spartan Hermes aeroplane, the first machine imported by the "Dunßdin'"Aero Club, is at present being, assembled. Mr. H. H. Mackay, the , secretary .of the club, stated yesterday; that he was extremely satisfied with'»the-machine and also with the fact that she was delivered without va scratch; which gave evidence of careful handling by the shipping authorities and carriers. The machine, a three-seater witft' dual control, has been specially designed for the use of flying; training schools,-1 or clubs, and represents/a-distinct advance on previous types in' many respects.
