• Junior A. Midland, 178 and 177 for six wickets declared (Devonport 81 not out, Henderson 24, N. Hutchings 22, Cooper 13) defeated
♦ — Kilbirnie by 31 runs on the first innings. Ivilbirnie made 147 (Armstrong 28, Lawrence 25 not out), and 128 for six wickets (Lawrence 40, D. Algar 36 not out). Bowling.—For Midland: Devonport four for 22, M'Cardell four for iS and two for 39, Hurley two for 32; for Ivilbirniu, Armstrong iive for 70. Junior 11. Batting first, Midland compiled 203,'L0 which Aspen contributed the fine score of 115 not out, including four sixes and fifteen fours. Kide 53 and Mahoney 42 also batted well. Sollitt three for ' 47, l'ringle three for 63, Tier three for 03, and Douglas one for 19 shared the wickets for Institute, who replied with the good score of 41i; Principal rungetteiß for Institute were Sollitt 91, (including two sixes and 12 fours), Tier 38, Owen 55, Spolsky 20, and Douglas 07 not out (including nineteen fours and two sixes). Smith put" up a line performance bowling for Midland, his figures being: 34 overs, 10 maidens, six wickets for 106 runs. Hatch, two lor 78, and Bryan one for 62, also bowled well. Midland's second innings realised 68. to which Hide and Aspen, 12 each, and Clayton 11 were the chief contributors. Tier three for 1 and Sollitt four for 34 were the best bowlers for Institute, who won by an innings and 83 runs—an eight point win. .„ Marist, 279 (Day 82, Kendall 82. Cuming 30, Hepburn 16); Wellington. ]5S and 51 (Rowden 38, Macklin 40). Bowling for Marist, Duffy three for 2(5 and two for 31, Heyburn four for 16 and three for 16, Day three for 46. Mni-ist had an eighfcpoint win. Junior C. Marist, 152 (Hayden 43, Frost 16, Kussell 13, Quirk 15, Molloy 12), and 106 for eight wickets (Quirk 39, Darrock 22, Frost 10); Wellington, 152 (Bale 43, Kane 38, Charlton 27), and 77 for four wickets (Newberry 24 not out, Kane 13, Bale 13, Charltou 13). Kesult, a tie on the first innings. Third A. Kilbirnie B, IS6 for seven wickets declared (Koroneho 79, Banneld 46) and eight for no wickets, defeated Midland, 100 (Scarborough 25, Smith 22) and 86 (A. Ricketts 25). Bowling.—For Kilbirnie: J. Ashenden eight for 54, Koroneho eight for 80, G. Coleman three for 20. Kilbirnie B won by ten wickets, scoring an eight point win. /T Karori, 91 and 110 for two wickets (J.
