A Japanese paper discloses that the Dutch East Indian Government and the Mitsui concern are about to sign an agreement for the exploitation of Borneo oilfields. The British Government has approached the Government of Holland to obtain a postponement of the signing of the agreement for a discussion about the desirability of Japanese / settling on the oilfields of the Borneo coast.
