The Society of Friends has done an admirable service in running a large holiday camp in South. Wales (Eng.) for young men who are unemployed. One of the most distressing elements- in the problem of unemployment in the mining areas is the hopeless outlook of youu" men who have never had a day's work since they left school. There is nothing like the disciplined open-air life of country or seaside camps for renewing tho pride of youth and its belief in tin; future."
