Miss La Plante plays the role of the girl wife who Is afflicted by dcsiro for an artistic career and more romance than her hard-working lawyer husband is willlug or able to provide. She goes to Paris, leaving her husband at tho mercy of an old flame. In tho French capital she lends a willing ear to the flowery words of her model, the 'Count de Hastignac." Then come her husband and the girl he Intends to marry as soon as a Paris divorce clears the way. A ramy night imprisons the principal in one apartment—and affairs are Ironed in most amazing circumstances. Opposite Miss La ! ■,<V„ a„ ppear Walter Scott- Eugene Borden and Mildred van Dorn also must be credited with higly successful renditions of their parts Action in "Hold Your Man" shifts from New York to Paris. Most of the action takes place in the French capital. The director has achieved a rapidly moving production, with no weak spots, and has utilised to tho fullest extent the rich, humorous opportunities afforded by the Plot. The film is based on a story written by Maxme Alton. An entertaining supporting programme is also promised. ' b
