(Eeeoived 20th December, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Questioned regarding the !New Zealand Cricket Council's reported decision to appeal against a Federal taxation levy of 4s in the & on £2000 profit from the M.C.C. team's Sydney match, the Department says that the appeal, if received, will be treated like any other which the taxpayer is entitled to make, but the Department has no power of discrimination. Only the Government can make a remission as an act of grace.
