SOLICITOR CHARGED
BRISBANE, 18th December. A well-known Brisbane solicitor, Robert M'Cowan, has been arrested and charged with stealing £.700, the property of a client. The prosecuting officer told the Court that the defalcations amounted to £22,000. Accused was remanded on bail.
