SCHOOL CAPITATION
A meetng of householders was held at the Islam Bay School last night to consider further the matter of reduced capitation grants to. the school committees ihe meeting carried the following resolution unanimously: "That this meeting of parents of children attending Island Bay facupol wishes to protest emphatically against the fact that the committee's capitation allowance is insufficient for the primary and absolutely essential duty of cleaning and heating the school, and points out that neglect of the cleaning and the consequent dirty condition of the school may seriously affect the health of our children, and considers that the capitation grant should be on the basis of roll numbers and not average attendance."
